Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support on PLCs and control systems for efficient operation, maintenance, upgrade and replacements
- Ensuring control systems and PLCs are installed and maintained in compliance with Global Best Practices and statutory codes
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics/Instrument Engineering
- Recognised training in PLC design and support
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in Marine/Power industry environment
- Working knowledge of IEC Electrical and control system standards
- Working knowledge of PLC systems including knowledge of instrumentation, programming and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
- Understanding of Electrical protection, isolations and control system safety integration including installation and inspection procedures
- Practical knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCad, PLC, HMI and SCADA software
