Job Title: Social Media Intern
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Description
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with the social media and research team and will be responsible for:
- Driving social media growth across (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter)
- Generating tailored content and designing adverts.
- Monitoring growth using Google Analytics and developing strategies to increase both respondent and corporate traffic.
- Conducting daily polls
- Using social media to build the representative sample
- Developing and writing social media strategy reports
- Act as first line of contact, responding to customer queries on social media.
- Creating infographics and charts for research reports and social media
Desirable Skills
- Ability to use data visualisation software (Tableu, Power BI etc)
- Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc)
- Excellent graphic design skills
- Ability to use Google Analytics
- Ability to use Buffer
- Ability to use Canva
- Ability to use Microsoft Teams
- Ability to use Infogram
- Ability to use Shutterstock Editor
- Applicant must be able to demonstrate awareness of current political, economic and social events both locally in Nigeria and globally.
