Job Title: Gardener
Location: Lagos Island
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing the gardens of the company.
- Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
- Using machinery such as lawn mowers, rotovators and hedge trimmers.
- To ensure all equipment, machinery is stored securely and clean after use.
- Digging, planting and weeding flower beds and borders.
- Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
- Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
- Service all garden equipment and machinery.
- Perform basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins, managing weed control and leaf raking.
- Maintain gardens by naturally fertilizing, trimming and making sure that plants are receiving adequate.
- Adjustments of mower height and quality of cut, etc.
- Pruning and cutting hedges.
- Any another responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager
Requirements
- SSCE/Apprenticeship certificate
- Minimum of 2 years of gardening experience.
