Job Title: Waitress
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Summary
- The waitress will provide customers with stellar dining experience from the food to the environment; they will greet customers, recommend particular dishes, take and bring customers orders.
- Waitress check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take necessary action to correct any problems.
- Communicate with customers to resolve complaints and ensure satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Take customers’ orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Facilitate the filling of drinks orders.
- Suggest additional menu items such as desserts and drinks to customers.
- Answering questions and additional information
- Delivery of checks and collects bill payment.
- Clear plates and utensils as dishes and entrees are finished.
- Provide excellent customer service to guest.
Requirements
- OND in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a restaurant
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of culinary terminology
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Capable of working well under pressure.
