Job description
  • We are looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to be our HR Representative is our office located in Port Harcourt.
  • You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employees records
  • You will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties :
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Maintain records of nationals personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent (essential).
  • 5 years of experience as an HR Coordinator (essential).
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
Candidate criteria:
  • Study specialisation: C-Social Sciences, Business, Law
  • Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more
  • Languages: English (E-Native or bilingual proficiency).
