Job Description
- We are looking for a Store Manager, currently working in a departmental store to efficiently manage store operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Effective management of opening and closing procedures for the store
- Taking care of the inventory, stock control and minimalizing goods losses
- Overseeing, monitoring and management of all cash and money transactions
- Ensure effective and efficient presentation and store performance management
- Ensure that quality of goods are maintained and food safety plans are implemented
- Ensure that pricing and merchandizing plans are well executed and maintained, considering the market and competition
- Ensure that all back office administration are effectively and efficiently carried out
- Recruiting, training and developing store employees and coaching them for efficient store performances
- Timely reporting to regional Sales and Operations manager.
Role Requirements
- B.Sc in relevant disciplines
- Over 4 years experience in (food) retail, performance management and store operations
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent leadership and teamwork ability
- Excellent hands-on and organizational skills
- Excellent operational-logistic skills
- Excellent operational-financial skills
- Excellent staff planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and oversee the whole store operation
- A strong can-do attitude, energy and drive
- Thorough understanding of the meaning of food quality and freshness
