Job Title: Maintenance/Repair Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- We are looking to recruit a qualified and reliable repair manager who has proven experience in a maintenance and repair role.
- You will be responsible for maintaining the building, machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures.
Duties
- Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
- Create and implement maintenance procedures and schedules
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Daily check ins on the facility and machines
- Ensure workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
- Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
- Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance
- Manage the set up and take down of different events
- Solve minor repair electrical and plumbing issues
- Communicate plans for upper level improvements to maintenance worker staff
- Contact and schedule repairmen and/or extra help as needed
- Perform other tasks as required
Requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of occupational safety
- Knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing systems to be maintained
- Ability to lift heavy loads
- Physical agility
- Manual dexterity
- Repair and maintenance experience
