Introduction
  • This role assists the Regional Manager in ensuring that Abuja market and its environs are serviced at all times.
  • The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts. The role is based in the Abuja; job coverage includes other locations in the North central region.
Job Specification
Key Result Areas
Personal Effectiveness:
  • Accountable for service delivery through own efforts
  • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.
  • Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.
  • Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.
  • Accepts and lives the company values.
Marketing:
  • Ensure that the broker market/client/Ecobank in Abuja and its environs are serviced at all times
  • Markets Old Mutual services and products to brokers face/clients to face
  • Develops and try to find new business
Sales Support:
  • Assists the Regional Manager in ensuring that the broker market, clients and Ecobank relationships are serviced at all times
  • Receives requests for quotations from brokers and clients; and makes alterations to existing business
  • Supports and advises on all product-related aspects of  products to Brokers/Clients
  • Ensures that Old Mutual and product providers understand Broker's product and marketing needs
Relationship Building:
  • Builds and maintains sustainable relationships with all contracted brokers, clients and Ecobank staff in designated portfolio
  • Convinces brokers/Ecobank to sell Old Mutual products and services
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant tertiary education, Business or Sales Marketing Qualifications. Good Analytical skills, technical/insurance product knowledge and relevant sales experience would be an added advantage.
