We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Retail Manager

Location:
Lagos

Summary
  • Strategically create tactical implementation plans for retail/promotion marketing projects that achieve clients objectives
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the clients market and enhance good relationships with both vendors and client.
Responsibilities
Client:
  • Keep senior level informed
  • Build sound relationships.
Project Management:
  • Receive and discuss the brief
  • Map out strategies with concrete results (reports, plans, etc) as a person in charge
  • Strategically lead the projects including process and Project Management schedule management
  • To coordinate a project without any problems on the spot
  • Sound time schedule management
  • De‐brief other related departments
  • Receive the cost estimation and time deadlines with production team
  • Get approval from the client for deadlines and cost
  • Control the project from start of production to delivery to the shops(production managers communication)Receive closing documents from production team
  • Submit all documents to prepare job closing
  • See through vendor transparency management, bidding process and annual evaluation
  • See through vendors implementation & improvement for a better service
Internal Comms:
  • Provide timely and consistent communication to team and team lead project status and profitability
  • Develop strong relationships with all other parts of the business and raise agency profile
  • Provide team with broader industry knowledge and specialism
Financial Management:
  • Take charge of managing client’s billing and profit targets, and closely observe client’s financial security and report results
  • Active participation in monthly team finance meetings in partnership with budget controller
  • Quarterly forecasting
Shopper Tactics:
  • Sound knowledge of the retail shopping environment including the full range of shopper vehicles such as, point‐of‐sale, on‐pack, premiums, sweepstakes, sales materials, trade programs, direct mail, sampling, advertising, couponing, digital and the strategic application of all current knowledge of industry, shopper & consumer trends
Brand Positioning:
  • In‐depth knowledge of brand positioning to identify when and how to adjust brand positioning to reflect market place dynamics
Strategic Evaluation of Creative:
  • Skilled to evaluate executional impact creative relative to strategy.
Qualifications
  • Interior Design
  • Industry Design
  • Retail Marketing
  • Product Design.
Experience:
  • Retail Marketing in shop, vendor or agency (3+ years)
  • Marketing experience in client(s), manufactory and business (3+ years)
  • Management Experience in Retail Marketing management (3+ years)
  • Production experiences working with production and POSM materials (1+ years)
