Position Summary
- We seek a Backend Developer who will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
- Focus will be on optimizing application for maximum speed and scalability. You will work side by side with Frontend Developer and other members of the Tech team.
Job Description
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Design and implementation of data storage solutions
- Integrate the front-end elements built into the application
- Develop all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Backend developer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective and efficient communication
- Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Basic understanding of frontend
- Great analytical skills for decision making and problem solving
- Good managerial and organizational skills which involve multitasking and rapt attention to details
- Knowledge of graphics software such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop etc
- Creativity
- Interest in company’s growth and self development
