Job Description
  • You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness, monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices and supporting our team on projects.
  • Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing and administrative skills. You should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. If you are also an expert in content optimization and brand consistency, we would like to meet you.
  • Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all marketing content initiatives and work with our team to ensure client engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
  • Create and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive online traffic to the company website and sales channels.
  • Write informative and effective search engine optimised copy for the website and external blog postings.
  • Manage the organisation’s social media accounts ensuring all copy is relevant and appropriate for the different platforms.
  • Actively monitor the company social media accounts for engagements ensuring prompt responses, feedback and timely conversations
  • Engage with customers to resolve customer service issues and create positive PR opportunities for the brand.
  • Developing a multi-channel content calendar across all platforms ensuring a constant supply of relevant content.
  • Manage the company’s email marketing campaigns portfolio
  • Monitor return on investment for the different online marketing campaigns utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
  • Keep up to date with changes and trends on social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.
  • Manage and maintain a content database and portfolio of all online and offline marketing materials and content.
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls to monitor and forecast trends.
  • Planning and delivery of community management strategies through social media.
  • Collate and report back monthly on performance statistics for all digital communications across all channels, using these statistics to influence future digital activity.
Requirements
  • NYSC members only.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing, content management systems, search engine optimization and how social media impacts this.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have Storytelling skills connecting people with the brand through creative content
  • Must be socially aware and on top of trends within the social media and public space
  • Natural eye for quality with an ability to produce exciting creative content.
  • Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media space.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.
  • Analytical and proactive approach to online marketing.
  • Ability to think outside the box (Ability to deliver on deadlines is KEY).
