Job Description
  • Assist Head of section (Coordinator of Maintenance & Inspections methods) for the updating of the Maintenance Plans including dedicated procedures, task list preparation, tools selection and other technical aspects, in accordance with Project Maintenance Strategy.
  • Provide assistance for Safety Critical Elements (SCE) data preparations and Implementation.
  • Liaise with Technical Authorities to ensure that Performance Standards in the OIAS dossier are compliant with HQ standards.
  • Assist the Project SCE Implementation responsible to ensure that all HVAC and Electrical indicators are ok for template upload.
  • Provide technical assistance to site, or HVAC & Electrical discipline engineers in the preparation (including major shutdown or overhaul works),on maintenance & Inspection methods works follow-up, works supervision, material receipt, or specific investigations, studies, equipment reliability and availability improvements, etc..
  • Perform studies or technical-administrative tasks as required for routine operations or in view of maintenance or equipment optimisation.
  • Assist Methods coordinator (maintenance and Inspections) for the preparation and updating of the Maintenance Plans; may involve procedures drafting, drawings issuance, studies performance, tools reviews, documentation filing, binding or data capture in computerized systems.
  • Supports the FPSO operational teams as requested in areas of own speciality, including drafting working procedures, maintenance programmes, and providing associated logistic support. As instructed, develops maintenance methods tools in own area of competence, analyses the works and practices, and suggests ways of optimization.
  • Performs technical studies in his field of competence as instructed in view of improving performance or ensuring the equipment integrity.
  • Performs equipment performance analysis; develop and put in place enhanced condition monitoring methods.
  • Follows-up the day to day activities of Project SCE Implementation project; remains available to provide all Technical Authorities the assistance and support needed.
  • Pays regular visits to the offshore site and participates to the Services as required; may be involved in HVAC & Electrical methods development including major shutdowns. May be incorporated into maintenance working shifts as the case may be, as required during major operations.
  • Ensure proper sorting of technical and non-technical documents.
  • Create working preventive procedure and request to Unisup resource their implementation
  • Coordinates, according to the instructions received from hierarchy, his activities with the MTMC (Maintenance and Technical Methods Contractor) method and planning engineers based in Lagos.
  • Follows-up into Unisup, the computerised maintenance management system, the, identification, registration and upload of all Safety Critical Elements on the client`s FPSO.
  • Review the existing maintenance plan in term of estimated hours and spare parts requirement.
  • Prepare all document to implement change in CMIMS (function location, spare parts and preventive maintenance)
  • Maintains and updates the technical documentation.
  • Performs periodic and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Co-ordinate these actions with concerned staff, from both offshore and onshore sites.
  • Carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Hierarchy
Requirements
  • Engineer University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge in High & Low Voltage Electrical machines & networks, UPS, PDCS
  • Experience: beginner up to 2 years experience as Electrical Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
