We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Advisor

Job Description
  • We are looking for an HR Advisor to provide valuable guidelines on how to recruit, manage, evaluate and retain employees.
  • You will be responsible for delivery of a full range of human resource services.
  • Ultimately, you will ensure our Human Resources department nurtures a healthy work environment and contributes to achieving our business goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting job evaluations
  • Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies
  • Coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants
  • Negotiating terms and conditions of employment with staff
  • Providing advice and playing a major role in work reviews and change processes
  • Advising on staff development
  • Consulting on issues related to workplace relations and performance management
  • Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, legislation, and enterprise agreements
  • Suggest new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations (e.g. ATS and HRIS software)
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics, like turnover and retention rates
  • Address employee requests and potential issues (e.g. grievances)
  • Assist in organizing employer branding initiatives
  • Act as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members
To be a HR advisor, you should have:
  • Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of the best practice on recruitment and selection
  • Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing such agreements and procedures
  • Ability to use a HR information system including, accessing, inputting, and compiling data
  • The verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group
  • The written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports
  • The ability to research, analyse and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes
  • Experience in leading and working effectively in teams
  • Experience in supervising staff and assuming responsibility for workload allocation
  • Ability to identify development needs
  • A commitment to providing customer service
  • Ability to write and present information
  • Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers on strategic matters
  • Experience in leading projects and implementing new initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role
  • Ability to design clear and fair company policies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar field
  • MSc/MA in HR or Organizational Psychology and/or ACIPM is a plus
