Job Title: Chief Security Officer
Location: Kano
Responsibilities
- The chief security officer shall be responsible for the overall control of the company’s security and safety systems. He/she has the following duties;
- Develop and implement strategic security protocols and procedures
- Develop policies and protocols for securing & protecting sensitive documents and information
- Train security personnel on routine patrol and CCTV monitoring/reporting
- Coordinate security team in maintaining vigilance and security of the Company premises
- Initiate and monitor safety measures to protect lives and properties within the Company.
- Prepare and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports for management.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND in relevant field of study from a recognized educational Institution.
- A retired officer from the Rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Major of the Nigerian Army or Assistant Commandant of the Nigerian Security & Civil Defence Corps will be an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a minimum of (10) Ten years relevant experience in security services and has been a team leader in the last employment
- Must have a good knowledge of security systems
- Must be able to judge and detect possible threats and act accordingly
- Must be willing to work long hours, even overnight
- Must have a high alertness level
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to work in a team
- Must be a good communicator.
