A reputable Commodity Market in Gezawa Local Government Area of Kano State is looking for passionate, committed and hardworking individuals to fill the position below:

Security Supervisor

Location
: Kano

Responsibilities
  • They oversee providing several security services for lives, property and equipment within the market perimeter and other company properties. They are to Secure premises, personnel and Company properties.
  • Prevent and control losses and damages by reporting irregularities
  • Inform violators of policies and procedures
  • Restrain trespassers
  • Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering
  • Coordinate security team in maintaining vigilance and security of the Company premises
  • Develop and maintain visitor’s logbook
  • Routine inspection of Company grounds to ensure there is no security breech.
Requirements
  • Minimum of OND in relevant field of study from a recognized higher Institution
  • Must have minimum of (8) eight years relevant experience in security service
  • A retired security personnel from the Nigerian Arm Forces, Nigerian Police, Nigerian Security & Civil Defence Corps will be an added advantage.
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must have a good knowledge of security systems -
  • Must be able to judge and detect possible threats and act accordingly
  • Must be willing to work long hours, even overnight
  • Must have a high alertness level
  • Must be able to work in a team
  • Must be a good communicator
  • Must be able to read and write.
