Job Title: Security Supervisor
Location: Kano
Responsibilities
- They oversee providing several security services for lives, property and equipment within the market perimeter and other company properties. They are to Secure premises, personnel and Company properties.
- Prevent and control losses and damages by reporting irregularities
- Inform violators of policies and procedures
- Restrain trespassers
- Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering
- Coordinate security team in maintaining vigilance and security of the Company premises
- Develop and maintain visitor’s logbook
- Routine inspection of Company grounds to ensure there is no security breech.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND in relevant field of study from a recognized higher Institution
- Must have minimum of (8) eight years relevant experience in security service
- A retired security personnel from the Nigerian Arm Forces, Nigerian Police, Nigerian Security & Civil Defence Corps will be an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a good knowledge of security systems -
- Must be able to judge and detect possible threats and act accordingly
- Must be willing to work long hours, even overnight
- Must have a high alertness level
- Must be able to work in a team
- Must be a good communicator
- Must be able to read and write.
