Job Title: IT Support Officer/Social Media Manager

- Divergent NG is looking to hire a well experienced and capable IT Support Officer/Social Media Manager to cater to our present service needs.
- As an IT Support Officer/Social Media Manager, you would be required to monitor and maintain the company computer systems, install and configure hardware and software, and solve technical problems. In addition to which the total management of the company website would be your responsibility.
Your duties would include but would not be limited to:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Possibly training more junior staff members
- Experience with managing social media pages
- Running and creating ads
- Graphics design and image editing skills is an advantage
- Content creation, and story telling
- Email marketing and newsletter creation is also a plus
- Web management.
- Be knowledgeable about changing, content on a website (using WordPress)
- Knowing HTML and CSS is an advantage
Requirements
- A formal degree in a relevant discipline would be considered
Candidates would also be required to posses:
- A technical, logical thought process
- Problem-solving skills
- An ability to stick to strict deadlines
- An ability to prioritize and delegate
- A keen eye for detail
