Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator

Job Summary
- Responsible for executing machine adjustments, diagnosis of machine faults and ensuring all quality requirements and other parameters are achieved in the production process.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate machine with minimal level of material and waste at all times
- Generate daily machine operational status/performance report during shift
- Diagnose machine faults and impelment required corrective adjustments where necessary to minimize downtime
- Perform simple mechanical/electrical trouble shooting on the machine
- Ensure set up during production Start-up, or production changes/plant maintenance and plant shut down
- Ensure all quality requirements and performance parameters achieved are maintained.
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
- 5-10 years' experience in industrial machine installation repairs and maintenance in FMCG
- Knowlecge of food production practices
- Knowledge of maintenance and vertical forming of plc packaging machines used for production.
- Ability to read schematic diagrams bIueprints and other technical documents
- Good Knowledge of machine safe regulations, good manufacturing practice and good house-keeping practice of production area

- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
- Machine operating skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Micrcsoft Office package (SAP an added advantage)
