Job Description
- The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the entire recruitment process within the organization, this will include sourcing, and interviewing candidates to identify the best fit for various positions within the organization the organization within specified time.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders to guarantee headcount is filled on time, and through the most equitable and objective processes possible.
- Maintain systems that guarantee quick and enjoyable evaluation processes for our candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and best ways to fill those needs.
- Actively source top talent via different media (online and offline) to build a funnel of qualified candidates for diverse functions across the organization.
- Identify new sourcing channels and tools through frequent research.
- Coordinate the entire recruitment process from sourcing, interviewing, identifying and extending offers to candidates.
- Provide timely feedback to candidates to ensure great candidate experience.
- Maintain positive relationships with candidates in ways that could yield referrals that could become potential hire.
- Continuously review materials needed to execute the talent acquisition process.
Qualifications & Characteristics
As the ideal candidates for this role should possess the following:
- A good first degree in Human Resources or related disciplines.
- A minimum of three (3) years Proven experience in talent acquisition/recruitment in the telecoms or consulting industry.
- HR professional certification(s) will be added advantage.
- Familiarity with employment laws and be supportive of diversity.
- Excellent workforce planning skills.
- A good sense of judgement and a good eye for identifying talent.
- A self-starter and able to work independently.
- Good leadership and problem solving skills.
- Motivation to relentlessly and consistently engage and follow-up with prospective candidates and referrers.
- Excellent people, communication, negotiation, time management and coordination skills.
