Job Title: Legal Personnel
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
- Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
- Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
- Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
- Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
- Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
- Perform any related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of Bachelor of Law (LL.B) (Second Class degree) from a reputable university and fulfilled the requisite call to bar.
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice with knowledge and experience in corporate commercial law, company secretarial and compliance services
- Outstanding communication skills
