We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Kitchen Cook
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The cook is responsible for the daily fresh food production/cooking and its preparations in accordance with set recipes.
- The cook ensures that the food is dished and served in a presentable manner.
- The cook will also give assistance to the Head Cook.
Career Background
- Restaurant and hospitality management, food management or any food related course
- Strong experience in in the food production and retail industry.
Characteristics:
- Should know how o Cook
- Good knowledge of recipes and food matching
- Be able to write down recipes
- Knowledge of relevant food safety legislations and HACCP rules
- Good understanding of the meaning of food quality and freshness
- Have high standards of cleanliness and the ability to adhere to strict hygiene rules
- Should be an expert in food control and excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Understands (local) customer tastes, behaviors and the effect on sales
- A desire for continuous food improvement and professional development.
