Job Title: Finance and Operations Manager
Location: Abuja
Details
- Develop the organization’s financial management strategy and strategic goals.
- Implement policies and procedures both in the finance and general operational realms.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations
- Improve financial operational systems, processes and policies -- specifically, better management reporting, information flow and management
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
- Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls
- Regular meetings with the Executive Director around financial modeling and planningrnrn
Technical Competencies
- Ability to work with at least one of – Sage, QuickBooks, Xero
- Advanced MS Excel and intermediate in other Microsoft Office suite applications
- Knowledge of VAT, tax and other compliance implications of non-profit status
- Knowledge of grants application and management (desirable)
- Knowledge Bank loan management (desirable)
- Knowledge of advanced financial modelingrnrnExperience:
- At least 3 years in Financial & Operations Management
- Strong background and work in Finance
- Budget development and oversight
