We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Manager
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Coordination of raw material sourcing centres, making sure baling machines are working and expected output is being delivered on a daily basis
- Continuous sourcing for competitively priced chemicals which will also be part of raw material mix
- Responsible for the daily delivery of the factory raw materials for production.
- Responsible for raw material sourcing and stocking to ensure warehouse always has adequate stock for at least 10 days production.
- Monitoring of haulage and consignment.
- Negotiate and make agreements with logistics service providers.
- Establish metrics in regard to Operational quality, in order to track and trend completion as well as root cause and identify areas for quality and process improvement.
- Ensure implementation of Standard of operations processes and process efficiency.
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and guidelines
- Ensure quality control checks at all stages of production at the factory from raw material to finished product.
- Coordinate with sales team to ensure maximum sales of products.
- Present or report standard information to Factory and management.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/ Procurement and Supply Chain certification is preferred.
- Supply Chain/Logistics experience in a production environment required.
- Experience in an operations facility or demonstrated equivalence.
- Have an expert knowledge of the operational process, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Processes).
- Effective communicator and negotiator
- Able to cope with high work pressure.
