Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Responsibility & Duties
- Collates, prepare and interpret financial reports, budgets and accounts of all financial activities;
- Undertake strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning;
- Timely confirmation of payments;
- Complete retail orders from all sales channels and record electronically;
- Prepare quotations for RFQs and invoices for closed opportunities and reconcile with global and local sales reports weekly and monthly;
- Process and facilitate vendor invoicing and payments;
- Undertaking research and work closely with the team on pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance;
- Control income, cash flow and expenditure;
- Develop, improve and manage the company’s financial systems and processes;
- Carry out business/ process modelling and risk assessments;
Requirements
- B.Sc in Accounting related degree (Minimum 2:1)
- Stakeholder Management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Web Application tools
- Minimum of 5-years finance operations experience
- Key account management skills
- Good presentation skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Good communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of business planning
- Good people management skills
- Effective time and process management skills
- ICAN certifications is an added advantage.
