KPMG - Our client, a leading financial services banking Group as part of its corporate strategy is focusing on strengthening its Commercial Banking business across its regions and distribution networks within Nigeria.

As a result of this marketing focus, the Bank is seeking to recruit self driven, experienced and motivated individuals to fill the following select positions within its Commercial Banking business.

The ideal candidates for these positions will be mid - senior management level staff with proven abilities and possess indepth understanding of the commercial banking landscape.

Reporting To: The Business Manager, Commercial Banking,

Job Description
The successful candidates will be responsible for growing revenue through proactively executing sales and relationship management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and deepen relationship with assigned clients.
  • Work collaboratively with the Business manager to identify target and engage prospective clients.
  • Structure credit facilities to ensure optimum balance between the customer and the banks interest.
  • Collate information on and periodically analyze customer behavioral trends data and generate periodic reports for the attention of the Business Manager.
  • Provide support to the Business Manager in the development of new offerings in line with customer needs and ensure compliance with regulatory rules and guidelines.
  • Proactively monitor account activities to escalate any issues/ challenges (i.e. dormancy, irregular transactions, etc).
  • Support the unit’s financial performance management activities, providing business group decision makers with financial information, analysis and reports as required.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline.
  • A higher degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum three (3) years relevant banking experience.
