Sonia Foods, Industries, with headquarters in Ibafo is one of Nigeria's leading tomato paste manufacturers. The company is a recognized market leader in tomato paste production and other range of products namely; Sonia Seasoning Cube, baking powder, Sonia Magarine, Sonia Yeast, Sonia Dough Improver, Sonia Preservative, Vitasoy Milk Drink, Vitamax Cereal Drink.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary
  • The ideal candidate for this position is an energetic/smart sales professional who is able to multi-task effectively meet and exceed target while carrying getting and retaining customers.
Job Description
  • Report to the National Sales Manager about activities of sale in assigned territory.
  • Be in charge of covering his assigned territory, servicing appointed Distributors (direct customers) be it Sales Partner (indirect customers) by selling our suppliers products from the sales van.
  • Able to handle sales team down under
  • Must continuously represent the organization in the market place by visiting, taking order, servicing such order and collecting marked feedback for the management decision in the territory.
  • For effective coverage of all customers for both direct and indirect customers, the development of a well – designed itinerary plan is prepared monthly but split into weeks and days of the week as greed and approved by Area Sales Manager.
  • Compile and make available the daily/weekly/monthly respect including sales figures as it affects his territory.
Other Requirements
Requirements/Knowledge/Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years as Territory Sales Manager in the eastern Part of Nigeria.
  • HND/B.Sc Degree in any discipline
  • Obtain and execute orders which meet or exceed 100% of the sales target across products.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft (Excel and word)
  • Should have relevant experience in sales in east
  • Arrange customers' visit to ensure maximum coverage of the territory.
  • Strong understanding of market
  • Good communication skill
  • Have a Go-Get Attitude
