Job Title: Junior Mechanic
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- To provide support to Lead Mechanics and assist in the repair and maintenance of fleet and cargo boats.
- Assist mechanic 1 in repairing and maintaining ferries and cargo boats.
- Operation of four stroke and two stroke engines and safe operation of the engines.
- Carry and handle tools and equipment to and from storage and working areas.
- Loosen bolts to dismantle machinery.
- Oil and grease machines.
- Pick up supplies and parts from vendors or suppliers as necessary.
- Check batteries and fluid levels in equipment and replace or replenishes as needed.
- Any other responsibility that may be assigned by your line manager
Job Requirements
- Minimum required experience: 1-2 year(s)
- Minimum qualification: SSCE, Trade Test and/or related apprenticeship certificate.
Salary
N60,000 gross monthly.
