Job Title: Head, Projects and Trends

Location:
Lagos

Purpose of the Position
  • The Head of Projects & Trends (HPT) is responsible for the smooth operation of various processes/logistics that contribute to the overall success of a projectThe HPT reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
The HPT’s duties include but not limited to the following:
  • Put a proper structure to the Projects department
  • Fully responsible for the daily management and business operation of the Projects department
  • Keep good relationship with key group client and leading the team work on projects
  • Monitor market research and competitors’ analysis to determine potential customers’ desires
  • Draw up KPIs for subordinates
  • Build a database for vendors/ suppliers so as to break monopoly and excessive costs
  • Oversee the Projects department and drive projects through to completion
  • Provide constructive coaching and ideas to projects
  • Supervise vendor’s briefing for projects
  • Liaises with subordinates as regards all contract staff to ensure they deliver on all duties for projects
  • He manages third party relations
  • Ensures that all materials needed from the office for a project is available for use
  • Ensures appropriate sign off on all materials needed from the General Manager
  • Ensures that he gets all invoices to purchase all unavailable materials for the execution of projects
  • Accepts responsibility for both Set up and tear down for all projects in collaboration with the team members
  • Responsible for the inventory of the store and project materials

  • The HPT would normally attain the required knowledge, skills and abilities through the completion a degree programme from a reputable institution and at least 7 years working experience.
