We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Branch Manager

Location: Abuja

Job Description
  • He shall be responsible for effective management of the units in the branch in order to meet the strategic business objectives of the organization. This entails setting targets and managing performance. He reports to the HOD Operations.
Responsibilities
  • Write or review security related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
  • Job risk assessments.
  • Maintenance of company’s assets
  • Documents administration
  • Office administration
  • Oversee the training of the subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.
  • Review the branch financial reports to ensure efficiency and quality of security operations.
  • Develop budgets for branch security operations
  • Oversee recruitment matters
  • Management of workplace health and safety matters.
  • Operational support for emergency and rapid response
  • Ensure effective and up to date training programme is available to the entire operations workforce.
  • Ensure patrol are carried out and when needed.
  • Ensure kennel department functions optimally.
  • Establishment of cordial relationships with various security agencies, business partners, professional associations etc.
  • Coordinate the activities of other employees and ensure security related supplies and equipment are not completely exhausted at any point.
  • Coordinate branch security operation or activities with public law enforcement agencies
  • Facilitate / attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations.
  • Assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
  • Prepare reports or make presentations on losses, or violations of regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Monitor security policies, programs or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies and directives
  • Monthly report writing
  • Create an executive branch business development strategy
  • Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and implement security standards, policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Be a graduate of Social Sciences or related disciplines, from a recognized university in or outside Nigeria. A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ cognate experience in the military, police or paramilitary or holding similar position in private security company. (Retired military personnel must show valid retirement papers.)
  • Be a certified member of any of the recognized security professional bodies.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (in all forms, including written and oral).
  • Be computer literate, ideally with proficiency in relevant computer applications (including PowerPoint) and internet surfing.
  • Be result oriented, self-motivated and with a positive attitude to work.
  • Have the ability to think laterally and have strong social skills and presence, enabling him to interact and deal with employees effectively.
  • Portray strong leadership style and be easily approachable by employees at all levels.
  • An active team player.
  • Applicant must be resident in Abuja or be ready to relocate to Abuja.
Remuneration Package
Very attractive but negotiable.
