Our debut service is “buy now, pay later” where we allow formal & informal sector workers, and SME owners purchase a variety of products and equipment for their homes and businesses but instead of paying for the products in full upfront, pay a small amount over time.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: People Operations Assistant

Location: Oyo (Oyo Town and Ogbomosho)

Job Description
  • We are looking to hire “People Operations Assistant”. This is a role where you will report directly to the People Operations Officer
  • In this capacity you will be supporting your location with the people operations and other administrative functions majority of the people operations functions, including recruitment of office support staff, providing updates for monthly payroll, and handling payment for office requisitions.
Responsibilities
  • Supporting the people operations lead, in generating reports on employees, including headcount and turnover
  • Handling recruitment of support staffs, on boarding and training as required
  • Ensuring employee behavior conforms with employees’ handbook
  • Managing exit procedure for support staffs
  • Conducting performance audit
  • Prepare job adverts and post job adverts in line with recruitment needs
  • Maintaining up to date staffs record
  • Participating in disciplinary and termination meetings
  • Addressing personnel related issues
  • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by Team Lead
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or any Social Science discipline.
  • 2 years proven experience as human resource officer, administrator or similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Highly detailed oriented
  • Able to work independently
  • Commitment to process improvement.
  • Great at time management, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Listening skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to generate new ideas and demonstrate conviction and influence.
