Job Title: Microbiologist
Location: Abuja
Job Requirements
- Minimum of HND (Upper Credit) or B.Sc (Second Class Upper) in Microbiology with at least two (2) years cognate experience in an Agro-allied industry preferred
- Certifications an advantage including Quality management system.
- Candidates must not be older than thirty years (32) years.
- Computer literacy is compulsory (proficiency in Ms word, Excel etc.)
- Related experience in an Agro-allied company will be an added advantage.
- Candidate must be resident in or around Abuja
- Male Preferably.
Key Competencies:
- Ability to Isolate and characterise bacteria or other microorganisms in prescribed culture media.
- Communication skills - verbal and written
- Data collection, management and analysis
- Ability to Perform tests on water and feed to detect harmful microorganisms and to obtain information about sources of contamination.
- Proficiency in the use of basic laboratory equipment and know how to maintain them
- Attention to detail
- problem analysis and problem solving
- planning and organizing
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to Proficiency in basic serological procedures or techniques.
