A Project with funding from multilateral institutions, that is supporting capacity building in Nigeria, in the fields of Procurement, Environmental and Social standards require the services of qualified candidates to show an interest in providing Service(s) for an ongoing project.

The Independent National Facilitation Unit (INFU) of the Project now invites Individual Consultants (“Consultant”) for the position below:

Job Title: Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Reference No.: NG-121514-CS-INDV/03/ 19
Location: Nigeria
Duration: The approximate effort level for each of the assignments is 120 man-days in six calendar months

Details
The successful Consultant will be required to:

  • Develop annual monitoring and supervision plans; and
  • Monitor and report on all activities of the delivery institution in each of the geo-political zones in Nigeria.

Requirements
The short-listing criteria are:

  • Graduate (Master’s) degree in Education, Business, Project Management or similar fields; PhD in a relevant domain is an advantage;
  • At least 15 years of general professional experience;
  • At least 10 years of specific experience in conducting monitoring and evaluation of projects or programmes;
  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting monitoring and supervision activities based on predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
  • Two years of experience in monitoring higher education institutions is an advantage;
  • Good command of the English Language;
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, coaching/mentoring, and computer skills.
