RS Hunter Limited - We are currently seeking a Dispatch Officer to join our growing Operations team!
Job Title: Dispatch Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities:
- Sort the parcels for the designated route
- Deliver the parcel to homes and business with motorcycle
- Re-direct wrongly-addressed parcel
- Collect signatures for recorded and registered parcel
- Prepare delivery report dealing with specific key performance indicators, such as on-time delivery, carrier expenses and made deliveries
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by Management
Job Requirements:
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills required
- At least 2-3 years transportation and/or dispatch experience preferred
- Be reliable and punctual
- Excellent driving skills and a valid driver’s license
- Must have a good knowledge about Lagos roads and how to navigate its route
- Be able to cope with early starts and working in all weather conditions
