Job Description

• We are looking to hire a Project Manager - Media & PR. The ideal candidate must possess a persuasive prowess and must be a connection cultivator.

Key Requirements of the Role

• Lead and supervise the PR & Media unit and be responsible for the day -to-day running and smooth operations of various PR projects, events and activities including site launches and advertising campaigns from concept to delivery.
• Coordinate all PR & Media activities for clients as well as coordinate the company’s PR & Media marketing and communication drive. These responsibilities would include pitching, accepting and interpreting briefs, budgeting, client relationship management and execution.
• Ensure that all PR & Media briefs are well understood and clear to all those involved, understand Clients' needs and objectives and liaise closely with them throughout campaigns, often on a daily basis.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports of Media/PR activities to include all third-party commitments and receivables from Clients.
• Manage and deliver projects’ PR & Media lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements.
• Consistently seek opportunities for improvements and suggest new projects.
• Develop support documentation including risks logs and requirement specifications.
• Deliver projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Leverage all the resources of the organization together to get the best plans and execution for Clients.

Education Qualification

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree/HND in Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering or related field from any recognized Institution.
• Advanced degree/other professional certification would be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong and reliable media relationship network/” Street cred” is a must have
• Excellent Knowledge of the media and press.

• Ability to learn fast and think on your feet as you confront challenges.
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Innovative and highly creative
• A good working knowledge of new and traditional media
• Creativity and insights into Client’s styles/preferences etc.
