Job Title: Marine Warranty Surveyor

Job Summary

• We are looking to hire Marine Warranty Surveyors. You will play a critical role in risk reduction for major offshore projects and marine operations.
• You will provide independent third-party technical review and approval of high value and/or high-risk marine construction and transportation project operations, from the planning stages through to the physical execution.

Responsibilities

• Assess technical requirements and provide warranty approvals for the decommissioning and removal of offshore production facilities and offshore wind farms, and site-specific approvals for mobile offshore drilling units (MODUs), including jack-ups, semi-submersibles and drill ships.
• Effective cost control/monitoring is implemented in the administration of the MWS contract.
• Understand all offshore installation works to identify potential interfaces with assured items and to ensure the MWS SoW is fulfilled.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and related fields.
• 10+ years in structural, marine or offshore engineering.
• Marine Surveyor with Master Unlimited. Certified Marine Warranty Surveyor.
• Theoretical and practical experience in marine operations such as the design, transportation and installation of fixed and floating offshore structures, subsea structures, pipeline and flexibles.
• Previous experience in FPSO mooring systems and mooring analysis, decommissioning projects or renewables projects, anchor patterning and barge/tow operations would be a great advantage.
