We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ISPS Marine Auditor / Inspector

Location: Lagos

Summary

  • As ISPS Auditor / Inspector, your job requires the formulating of procedures, which have to be implemented within the company to ensure compliancy to set industry quality standards, i.e. ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and directing of all ship security internal audits.
  • Understand the requirements for accurate and efficient record keeping whilst carrying out daily duties such as identifying and reviewing existing procedures, and where necessary, putting in place preventative actions if required.
  • Assessment and appraisal of key business processes within the company, working with all levels of management. You will create and implement policies, which are for the benefit of the company.
  • Plan audits, review and evaluate all audits performed and prepare a report detailing the results and recommendations of all audits carried out.
  • You will be required to attend and participate in internal audit meetings and reviews with other members of the company’s management team.

Requirements

  • First degree and must possess relevant certifications.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience as an ISM ISPS Auditor.
  • Good numeracy skills and be methodical in your approach to work and problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent negotiating skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.
  • Excellent computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office as well as other software related to this industry sector.
