Save the Children is looking for experienced development professionals to work within the Nigeria Country Programme. These roles will be critical for the delivery of results for children expected by this programme.

Job Description

To ensure the maintenance and administration of a robust and an effective grants management system that is compliant to SC grants systems and guidelines and meet donor requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Access and competency in development of spread-sheets and databases: proven analytical skills
  • S/he should also have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate clearly with thoughtful and accurate information
  • Substantial management experience of which at least 3 are with non-profit sector and managing institutional donor contracts such as DFID, EC. ECHO, USAID; proven experience of developing guidelines and formats to support staff in donor applications and reporting with particular reference to USAID grants.
  • Knowledge of major donor funding sources and grant application processes.
  • Experience of managing or supporting programmes in each stage of the project cycle, including development of funding proposals, budgeting, technical and financial monitoring.
