Senior Technical Officer - PCT at the Global Fund

The Global Fund is a 21st-century partnership organization designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics, Founded in 2002, the Global Fund is a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector and people affected by the diseases. The Global Fund raises and invests nearly US$4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in countries and communities most in need. Since 2003, the Global Fund has invested more than 1.4 billion dollars in the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria in Nigeria.

To strengthen this operations and interventions in the country, we are partnering with Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) to fill the capacity below:

Job Title: Senior Technical Officer - PCT

Description

• Senior Technical Officer - PCT will facilitate the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of high quality KP and PrEP program in 10 Global Fund supported States,
• Provide technical leadership in developing strategies and interventions to improve the quality and responsiveness of HIV prevention programming and service delivery for KP/PP,
• Provision of technical assistance and mentor-ship to other project team members and facilitate technical capacity assessments in efficacious, evidence-based HIV prevention for key populations.

Minimum Requirement Standards

• MBBS or Community Health or MPH with 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Or Degree in Social Sciences / Public Health from a recognized University with 7-9 years’ experience in providing technical leadership in HIV Prevention at national or regional level.
