We require competent candidates for the following position:

Job Title: Officer, Sexually Transmitted Infections

Location:
Lagos

Responsibilities
  • This position reports to the Territorial Managers of the respective States. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support and assist to coordinate implementation of GF HIV Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) interventions in the State.
  • S/He will work with the Territorial Managers to implement STI program strategies in all selected health facilities within the State.
  • S/He will work with the State Government and other partners to ensure compliance with National Guidelines in the provision of quality STI services. In addition, s/he will provide support in ensuring timely submission of quality reports of STI intervention activities to Global Fund on monthly and semester basis respectively.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to work with GF HIV project team to provide support in the development of budgets and work plans for all GF HIV activities within the State.
Requirements
  • Must possess a first degree in Sciences/Medical/Biological Sciences/Public Health or its equivalent in a relevant field is required.
  • Must possess minimum 1 year experience in implementing HIV/STI related activities in specific communities.
  • Must possess ability to analyse and interpret both quantitative and qualitative programme data.
  • Must possess excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must have cognate skills in computer applications.
  • Must possess a high level of integrity and with good interpersonal skills.
