Job Title: Marketing Consultant

Location: Kaduna

Job Duties

• Works as an independent consultant or as part of a consultancy firm to provide marketing expertise to Sosai on the Solar Food drying Project with Propcom Mai Karfi a DFID Funded Project.
• Researches the Food processing industries, markets, demographics, trends, sales results, and other data related to the Solar Food drying Project.
• Analyses details of competitor offerings, including specifications, market share, pricing, and promotional materials.
• Creates detailed reports with research findings and analysis to inform marketing strategies.
• Provides written documents and verbal presentations for SOsai Management to guide the creation of new marketing plans and strategies.
• Recommends specific marketing approaches and spending budgets to achieve the Sosai's desired sales goals.
• Helps come up with new product design and service offerings to increase shares in new or existing markets.
• Assists marketing managers and directors in coming up with focused branding, positioning, and marketing tools for each Solar dried product or service.
• Works within the Sosai's budget to produce effective promotional materials and advertising opportunities.
• Tracks sales and feedback and adjusts marketing strategies as necessary across all operational states.
• Establishes marketing tracking methods to help Sosai evaluate performance over time.
• Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
• Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
• Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
