Job Title: Lecturer I

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description
We are in need of Readers / Associate Professors in the following areas of specialty:

• Chemical Pathology
• Medical Microbiology
• Pathology (Morbid Anatomy / Anatomic Pathology / Histopathology)
• Haematology
• Medicine
• Surgery
• Community Medicine.

Required Qualifications

• Applicant must possess MBBS, MD and FWACP FWACS, FNMCM, FNMCGP, FNMCS, FMC Path. or equivalent qualifications from the United States of America, United Kingdom or Eumpe, with at least five (5) years of teaching and research experience in the relevant areas in a recognized University
• A Ph.D Degree will be an added advantage
• Applicant must have been a Lecturer II for at least three (3) years and possess good record of scholarly publications of at least four (4) journal papers or three (3) journal papers plus two (2) referred proceedings. A qualification in Medical Education will be an asset.

• As contained in the Human Resource Policy Document of the University.

Salary and Allowances

• Salary and allowances are at enhanced levels.
