Our client, a Micro-Finance Bank requires the services of a qualified and experienced candidate for an immediate hire as Head of Internal Audit.
Job Title: Head, International Audit
Location: Lagos
The Role:
- Lead the function and be responsible for defining and reviewing of the scope of Internal Audit for a microfinance bank
- Plan, organize and carry out Internal Audit for the bank, including preparation of an audit plan, schedule and assign work and estimate resource needs
- Ensure Audit Reviews and Audit Reports are followed up to confirm implementation progress and report on non-compliance with Audit recommendations
- Work with Management to make sure a system is in place which will ensure that all major risks are identified and analyzed regularly or periodically
- Liaise with external auditors to provide necessary support
- Training and development of Audit Staff and subordinates
- Excellent managerial skills, innovative, creative and good understanding of credit process.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HND/B.SC in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and any related fields.
- MBA or any post graduate degree is an added advantage.
- Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age.
