Librod Energy Services Limited is a full-fledged multi-disciplinary Service provider of Oilfield Services to the Upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Industry in West Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Country / Business Development Manager

Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Responsible for effectively managing the GroupТs Sales, Operations, and Technical functions to ensure best practices are followed, cost is controlled and maximize revenue generation while contributing GroupТs Operating profit.
  • Responsible for developing, managing & mentoring the team performance in achievement of set goals.
  • iaise with Regulatory Authorities and top-level clientele to ensure continuity of business

Responsibilities

  • Create, control & implement Departmental Budgets
  • Oversees product / service development and monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services
  • Decides plans to develop new products / service and processes
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Monitor & Keep up to data on market trends and competitor intelligence report, analyse the impact on Librod products/services and develop appropriate response strategies to protect and enhance our market position.
  • Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the company.
  • Provide leadership and Manage/supervise Group Staff
  • Instruct, train, mentor, manage and evaluate the team
  • Monitor negotiation process to ensure that contracts are secured
  • Provide detailed report, statistics, status of pending contract to the Management on Monthly performance -both personal targets and sales team performance
  • Maintain cordial business relationship with our partners
  • Identify and acquire new key clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum B.Eng or B.Sc Engineering / related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience (with years in a managerial role) in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Supply chain, Logistics, Marine & Shipping experience in the Oil and Gas sector preferably.
