Job Title: Specialist Continuous Service Improvement

Location:
Lagos

Core Job Functions / Responsibility:

Increase the efficiency, maximizing the effectiveness and optimizing the cost of services and the underlying IT service management processes. Ensure that improvement opportunities are identified throughout the entire service lifecycle. Continually align and re-align IT services to the changing business needs by identifying and implementing improvements to IT services that support business processes.

Primary activities
  • Review, analyses and make recommendations on improvement opportunities in each lifecycle phase:
    • Service strategy
    • Service design
    • Service transition
    • Service operation
  • Identify and implement individual activities to improve IT service quality and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of enabling ITSM processes
  • Improve cost effectiveness of delivering IT services without sacrificing customer satisfaction
  • Review management information and trends to ensure that services are meeting agreed service levels
  • Review management information and trends to ensure that the output of ITSM processes are achieving the desired results
  • Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities and roles to highlight areas of improvement or concern
  • Conduct internal audits verifying compliance
  • Conduct external and internal service reviews to identify CSI opportunities
  • Review analyzed data
  • Present recommendations to senior management for improvement
  • Help prioritize improvement opportunities
Job Requirements and Skills
  • Graduate Qualifications: A First degree BEng, BSc, BTec, Science or Technology Only from a recognized University REQUIRED.
  • Post Graduate Qualifications: Master’s degree or Post Graduate Qualification would be of ADVANTAGE.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years’ relevant work experience in IT production environment, NYSC is ESSENTIAL.
  • Certifications and Training Requirements: Relevant IT Certifications (CISCO, JAVA etc.), ISO, ITIL, PMP, Applications etc. would be of ADVANTAGE.
