The eHealth Systems Africa is working on the delivery of vaccines and is building an Offline Chrome app using AngularJS that will be used to manage inventory, organize transport of health commodities, monitor vaccine temperatures and provide reporting to government and donor partners.

Location: Nationwide (Remote)

Job Type: Contracted

Job Description
We need an experienced developer that can work with our team remotely to produce both the offline client application and assist with the server application (based on Django using Django-Rest-Framework) to collect and synchronize data from all sites.

Qualification and Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years related javascript experience
  • Experience with AngularJS and Chrome Applications,
  • Basic git knowledge (creating branches, merging branches, cherry picking commits, reverting commits, stashing, squash merging, tagging, etc.)
  • Experience writing and working with APIs
  • Working with JSON
  • Comfortable with Coffee script and Javascript
  • Postgres
  • Great communicator (we are remote after all)
  • The software team will have daily standup meetings at 10am (West Africa Time) and a Weekly Sprint Planning Session. This is a contracted position at 20 hours per week with potential for full time if desired. International travel is also a possibility.
