Higher Ground International Schools (HGIS) Uzuakoli in Abia State, is a newly built ultramodern Secondary, Primary and Nursery School located along Uzuakoli - Umuahia highway with a beautiful learning environment, and world-class teaching and learning facilities. Our school offers a wide range of learning experiences from academics, morals, to mentorship and sports development. We are currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: PR / Marketing Executive

Location: Abia

Job Description

  • Drafts and implements within timeline strategies for business expansion not limited to branding, aggressive online and offline marketing, adverts, jingles, CSR, communities based awareness Programmes, sponsors/partnership programs with government and relevant stakeholders with the approval from management
  • Will act as the voice and image of the institution, represent the school externally with approval of management on all exhibition, talent discovery, student haunt, marketing, road shows and be responsible for all awareness leading to inflow of students
  • Will work alongside the Customer Service Executive to update all media channels with relevant visibility, product information and also generate periodic applicable reports.

Responsibilities

  • Formulating policies and budgets for preliminary review with respect to Marketing, branding and visibility programs and projects
  • Identifies, prioritizes and reaches out to new students and business opportunities
  • Identifies development opportunities; follow up on development leads and contacts; participates in the structuring and financing of projects; assures the completion of development projects
  • Writes winning proposal documents, negotiate fees and rates in line with organization’s policy
  • Responsible for handling business research, market surveys and feasibility studies for the school
  • Responsible for supervising implementation, advocate for the customer’s needs and communicate with all relevant parties
  • Develops, executes and evaluates new plans for expanding increase in the school
  • Documents all customer contact and information, and share with the secretary and Admin
  • Represents the school alongside the school administrator in strategic meetings
  • Helps to increase students’ intake and growth for the school

Requirements

  • Should have a minimum of HND, B.A, B.Ed, B.Sc in relevant Arts, Sciences or humanities courses. One (1) year post graduate marketing experience and / or M.A, M.Ed or M.Sc is an added advantage. Graduates of English are encouraged to apply
  • Fluent in English, Igbo and pidgin
  • Must be smart and a goal getter
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of IT, designs, tele/digital marketing
  • Must be able to upload and edit content on the social media and prepare good ROI based proposals within limited time
  • Must be a self-motivating individual, bold and able to communicate at all levels
