A Professional Training and Consulting firm has an opportunity for a hardworking, focused, goal-driven individual to fill the position of:

Job Title: Premises/Facilities Maintenance Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facilities and associated equipment, plus garden/premises as well as the area immediately outside the perimeter wall. This job entails regular cross- checks and inspection of the premises ensuring that all equipment is fully functional at all times.
  • Ensure that general repairs within the company are carried out as necessary without delay;
  • Ensure all office equipment furniture and machinery are in good working condition at all times;
  • Ensure that the generators are regularly serviced and maintained and that diesel levels are properly monitored and recorded;
  • Ensure prompt collection and payment of all utility bills when due and carry out trouble shooting when necessary;
  • Ensure that the premises are kept clean, tidy and well maintained at all times
Qualifications
  • Minimum of HND in Building Management, Engineering or a relevant field;
  • At least 4-5 years work experience in a similar job role
  • Candidates must show evidence of the following
  • Must be standards driven with good communication skills (both written and oral);
  • Must possess computer skills;
  • Organisation and systemic thinking (Must be good with record keeping and preparing reports);
  • Numeracy and the ability to understand financial data;
  • Evening and weekend work may be needed;
  • Flexibility and the ability to work on more than one task at a time and to handle pressure;
