Job description
- Carry out skilled maintenance works independently in the repair, assembly, alignment of mechanical equipment like exchangers, vessels, columns, boilers, structures and able to fabricate pipe work from isometric drawings.
- To be able to identify piping specs, gaskets, bolt nuts, valves etc and able to carryout the work on all the piping.
- Operates simple M/C tools such as grinding machines, drilling machines, impact wrenches etc.
- Able to take precision measurement using depth gauges, micrometer, vernier calipers etc. and must be able to work to very close tolerances.
- Prepares sketches/brief reports such as alignment, finished dimensions etc.
Requirements
- 15 years of offshore experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Operator experience essential
- Predominately Maintenance activities
- Hands on experience is essential
- Someone willing to get his hands dirty
- He/she should be experienced in trouble shooting
- Repairs on pipelines is more often than compressors or rotating equipment in general.

- 28/28 rotation
- 1 year renewable contract
- Day rate salary
