Job Title: ELV Services Design Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Permanent

Job Description
We are looking to hire an ELV Services Design Engineer to provide technical support to the Business Development (BD) Department for Engineering solutions and other in-house Engineering Designs and works to meet clients requirements. He/she will also be required to produce results in the following areas:

Project Management:

• Survey and production of Bill of material preparation, Engineering concept write up and drawing for Tender Submission.
• Work towards sourcing best suppliers, on behalf of the company and building supplier relationships accordingly
• Ensure the best price for costing of equipment and manpower for all projects
• Analysis and production of project designs documents for the effective delivery of the project by the project team
• Providing project initiatives and conduct success-functional reviews (Milestones and Deliverables), follow project implementation Processes and Management

Business Management:

• Supporting Business Development in Technical Presentation, Business Analysis
• Responsible for the preparation and submission of detailed tender documents on time
• Ensuring technical and commercial compliance with client and legal requirements, with the objective of ensuring the best possible commercial advantage for the company

Design Management:

• Engineering Designs for new opportunities (Design Drawing, Solution Description Document etc.) in the following areas:
  • Automation (KNX and other proprietary protocols)
  • CCTV
  • Access Control System
  • Public Address System
  • Intrusion System
  • Fire Detection And Alarm System
  • Master Aerial Television
  • Structured Cabling System (SCS)
  • Electrical services (single line diagram for electrical network, electrical cable sizing etc)

Customer Management:

• Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements
• Assess customers' met and unmet needs
• Recommend solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
• Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers' business requirements.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Computer Science
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in ICT/Telecoms, Power and Building Engineering Services
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Engineering Design/Project management
• Having relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
