A leading company in the FMCG business with head office in Lagos seeks experienced, young and dynamic Field Sales Officers for immediate employment in its Lagos office/other states.

The job expectations for the position include:
  • Planning the sales targets to achieve the management goal for the team of open markets and street markets by understanding the different market dynamics
  • Continuous trade census for improving availability of existing products and using the right opportunity/modes for the new products/new markets
  • For Open markets, better existing distributor relationship and find new distributors depending upon the product requirement and market requirement to achieve the monthly target
  • For Open market redistribution, work with the foot-soldiers to achieve daily numbers by continuously monitoring them and helping improve sub distributor relations and same for the van sales team. Other than this help distributors by attaching van sales, retail topping vans to de-stock on streets
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock level specific to distributor level, check and control prices, availability and visibility and take actions to improve on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed sales reports for the his/her territory including human resource wise to monitor them and help them grow
  • Keep close watch on competition and assist product management team/branch head to strategize to fight competition
  • Co-ordinate with marketing teams to grow markets, increase resources optimally depending upon market requirement etc
Requirements
  • University/HND graduate and not more than 35years of age
  • Must be willing to work in the field
  • 1-3 years sales experience desirably in FMCG business
  • Have good communication and presentation skills
  • Possess good business acumen and customer orientation
  • Possess planning and problem solving skills
  • Possess creative and analytical skills
  • Must be self starter with drive, passion and result oriented
  • Have negotiation, relationship management and coaching skills
