We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Product Specialist

Location: Lagos
Department: Product & Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Develop product vision and road map.
  • Translate high-level product requirements or strategy into detailed requirements through mock-ups, wireframes, or user stories
  • Work with the growth, marketing, and business Analyst teams to identify opportunities for product growth.
  • Ensure successful product launches.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness for your products
  • Engage customers to solicit feedback on your product and seek for ways to constantly delight your customers
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure that products/features are delivered on time
  • Act as a scrum master for our scrum teams and ensure the teams adhere to Agile principles
  • Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by your line manager.
  • Lead a team of other product managers and business analysts.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • Must have good knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Project Management certification is an added advantage.

As a Product Specialist you should have:

  • Successfully launched software products in the past and achieved a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Been personally responsible for a product that achieved record revenue and customer acquisition targets.
  • Conducted market research for your products and you have experience establishing market fit for your products.
  • A deep understanding of user experience and are experienced with creating products that trigger customer loyalty
  • Experience prioritizing customer requirements based on customer and business impact
  • Experience with Scrum and Kanban agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
